The diploma thesis introduces the 5th grade students to the history of the place that is located in the area close to the school. With the help of the project, and therefore their own research, the pupils will discover the period of the 19th century through the life and work of Karel Jaromír Erben. Since the school is located near the Olšan Cemetery in Prague, the beginning and the end of the project are at these cemeteries, where K. J. Erben is buried. The work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, will be presented information about the situation in the 19th century. How Czechs and other nationalities lived before and after 1848. The work focuses on the important patriot Karel Jaromír Erben, who lived in the mentioned times and his work, which is still known to the general public. At the same time, the work also focuses on the pupil and the goals that are based on the RVP. The knowledge gained from the theoretical part will serve as the basis for the practical part. In the practical part, the work is directly focused on a specific project. Its plan, implementation, evaluation, reflection and self-reflection. The Castle Library of Mladá Vožice

(in English): The aim of this dissertation is arranging of the library fund of zámecká knihovna Mladá Vožice. The main purpose of this paper is to define this fund with respect to the provenience and its content. Contemporary conditions of the library are outlined in the Introduction. In the following chapters the history of the castle as well as the history of the noble families involved in establishing of this collection is being described. The main emphasis lays on the family of the collections founders -the family of Küenburg. Fourth chapter describes history of the library on the basis of provenance research. In accordance with this is the identification of the books owners from Küenberg, Spiegefeld and Schönfeld family. In the same manner different families and persons with no direct lineage to Küenbergs are characterized. At the same time this part of the work engages the characteristics of the fund in respect to particular members and partially also including the content characteristics, which are being elaborated properly by means of thematic groups in the following chapter. The information about arrangement of the fund are mentioned on the basis of the archive material and sources. Conclusion is made as a summary of the work, including the overview of its aims and achieved results.
Provenance and content survey castle library Chuchelná

Theme of this bachelor thesis is provenance and contentual survey castle library Chuchelná. The first chapters are describing ancestry of the Lichnowsky family, history of village Chuchelná and castle buildings. Chapter called "Provenance characteristic of library collection" identifies book owners from Lichnowsky family and assignes individual fascicles to their owner. In chapter "Contentual analysis of the library collection" is elaborated the main subject matter - expresionism, which relates to the principal "magnifier" of this library, Mechtilda Lichnowsky. Permanent exhibition of National Museum in Lobkovic palace

The thesis deals with the theme Permanent exhibition of the National Museum in Lobkowicz Palace. Specifically the second part of the historical exhibition, entitled Monuments of the National Past, which aimed to provide a comprehensive summary of the development of Czech state and its nation in the period from the arrival of the Slavs to 1848.
National museum - view of media as the possible historical source and its limits

Are many historical sources from which to draw the history of the National Museum. There are also a number of studies and monographs on the history of the National Museum, however, none of these works look at the media, audio or audiovisual, as a s historical source. The media could be a special source from which specific and authentic information on the National Museum can be drawn. Film records, as well as radio eithet television broadcasting bring a number of insights and complement the history of the National Museum. This study explores the role of the media as an information resource on the history of the National Museum, together with the identification of the limits of this source form. Based on historiographic procedures and methods known in the field of media science, quantitative and qualitative analysis has enabled the research of unique historical sources in the form of television and radio recordings, which brings insights into the National Museum. In the period under review, the genre variety was found, which mainly offered television and news programs, journalism, educational and entertainment programs. Libraries of princes Lichnovsky

The libraries of Lichnowsky noble family are currently composed of the sections. The first one is the main family line library stored in Hradec nad Moravicí castle and the latter is the one originally from Chuchelná castle. This thesis focuses on 16-18th century prints as parts of the above mentioned libraries. The aim here is the content and provenance analysis of the library fund of Lichnowsky within the suggested periods of time. At the front, the attention is on signature lines and on the question, whether the Chuchelná library contains books that once belonged to private property of Lichnowsky family. In the following chapters, it is explained why the scale of the analysis is limited to the selected centuries. The answer also reflects the general topic of understanding castle libraries. The focus is also on the history of the noble family of Lichnowsky. After localization of the library itself, major parts of the thesis follow, which chapters comprising the content and provenance analysis of the libraries. The provenance chapter has two parts. The first one identifies members of Lichnowsky family behind provenance traces inside the books, whereas the major role is played by Robert Lichnowsky, largely responsible for operating and maintaining the family library. Journal of the National Museum, culturally-historical periodical and its benefit

This thesis investigates the Journal of the National Museum since its origin to the sixties of the 19th century. Based on work with historical sources presents the Journal's contribution to development of Czech literature and science effort in this period. The Journal was for decades one and only of its kind in Czech countries. The Journal reflects stabilization of Czech language and the development of specialized scientifical terminology. Furthermore, this thesis presents institution of the National Museum and the Treasury - Matice česká and their connection with the Journal. This important connection shaped Czech scientific and literary scene in the early thirties of the 19th century. Thanks to the National Muzeum and its collections of old Czech literature monuments, Matice and the Journal began publishing various historical sources, which are very important for historical knowledge. Space is given to the editors who participated in the Journal's creation and who greatly influenced its final appearance. Thesis contains detailed informations on the founder and first editor of the Journal.

Marketing Communication of the National Museum in Prague in the year 2010

This Diploma Thesis "Marketing Communication of the National Museum in Prague in the Year 2010" deals with communication activities of the National Museum in Prague during the whole year 2010. It focuses on a wide range of communication channels and means typical for marketing communication by which the museum presents itself to the wide public. The thesis is based on the premise that this cultural institution of international importance applies art marketing methods not only to increase the awareness of its existence but also maintain its goodwill, gain new customers and popularize the sphere of cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. Attention is paid to the impact of the Museum's communication to its image in the media, current positioning and its influence on communication strategy. The description of communication strategy results from current communication mix consisting of advertising, direct marketing, promotion and public relations activities. Significant attention is devoted to one of the main activities of the Museum - exhibitional activity.
